At the invitation of the SWAPO Party, a ministerial-level delegation from the Communist Party of China (CPC) attended the 4th  SWAPO National Congress in Windhoek from 26-30 November 2007.  The delegation presented a congratulatory letter from the CPC Central Committee for the successful convening of the SWAPO Congress and paid courtesy visits to the newly-elected SWAPO leaders.
