| The 29th Summer Olympic Games will be held in Beijing, China from 8th to 24th August 2008. Athletes from over 200 countries/regions will compete in 302 events of 28 sports. China will warmly embrace the whole world with unprecedented dynamics after 30 years of reform and opening up. In an effort to promote and celebrate this historic event, the Chinese Embassy in Namibia will sponsor an Olympic Games Knowledge Contest. The contest is open to the public in Namibia. All Namibian citizens are encouraged to participate in our contest, and win beautiful prizes (Chinese arts and crafts, T shirts, mascots, ...)!
